The country that once Winston Churchill called the “peal” of Africa has, for the last two decades, been in social, political and economic chaos. The aim of this book is to document the main causes of this state of affairs, Thus the major thesis advanced here is that the foundations of Uganda’s present problems , which are inexplicably linked to her state of underdevelopment, were established during the colonial era.
