Inspired by the African Traditional Fireside (Ekyooto) – The term Ekyooto refers to the traditional African practice where people gather around a fire to share knowledge, wisdom, and stories. JNLC uses this concept to foster open and inclusive discussions on leadership and development.

Purpose & Objectives

  • To empower youth and student leaders with leadership skills.
  • To foster dialogue on governance and peacebuilding.
  • To encourage Pan-Africanism and the values of Julius Nyerere, who advocated for unity, self-reliance, and ethical leadership.
