The event brought together leaders, scholars, diplomats, students, and members of the Tanzanian community to reflect on Nyerere’s enduring contributions to education, leadership, unity, and Pan-Africanism. Activities included cultural exhibitions, tree planting, a campus tour to Nyerere’s former residence at Makerere University, an inter-university debate on his philosophies, Swahili competitions, documentaries, and traditional performances.
