The Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre (JNLC) participated in the 3rd APRM Continental Youth Symposium that was organized by the Office of the Prime Minister in Partnership with the AU through APRM Continental Secretariat from 4th-9th July 2022. The event was held at the Speke Resort Munyonyo.
H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni opened the 3rd edition of the African Peer Review Mechanism Continental Youth Symposium #APRMYouth at Speke Resort Munyonyo and called upon the Youth to advocate for and contribute toward political unity and coordination among the African countries.
In his remarks, President Y.K Museveni said
we cannot become prosperous by begging, but rather by being the vanguard of producing goods and services, protecting Africa against all threats, and guarding our countries against the politics of sectarianism stoked by external forces.

On Friday 8th, July 2022, H.E Rtd Maj. Jessica Alupo Epel, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda arrived as the chief guest to close the 3rd #APRMYouth Continental Symposium at Speke Resort Munyonyo. She praised the youth for being disciplined & challenged them to work with their governments’ to transform Africa.
