Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre participated in The Youth in Business Connect 2023, a pre-summit for the YouLead Summit 2023 at Fairway Hotel in Kampala. The 7th Annual YouLead Summit, one of the largest youth leadership forums, was scheduled to take place at Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi from November 20th to 24th, 2023.
“The Youth in Business Connect” aims to catalyze opportunities and empower young entrepreneurs in the region. Through fostering a vibrant net- work, the initiative provides a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and mentorship. By means of workshops and training, it enhances the skills of youth, preparing them for the challenges of the business landscape. By showcasing success stories and promoting innovation, the connect inspires confidence and determination. “The Youth in Business Connect” initiative seeks to build a sense of community, creating a dynamic and empowering environment for youth in business in East Africa.
Mr. Jacob Eyeru delivered the Keynote Address at “The Youth in Business Connect 2023.” He serves as the Chairperson of the National Youth Council of Uganda and is a member of the COMES Youth Advisory Panel. The conversation was hosted by ActionAid Uganda and YOULEAD AFRICA (OneYoungAfrica), in collaboration with partners Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre (JNLC) and EAC Youth Ambassadors.
