Applications for the For Youth, By Youth movement officially opened on February 15th and will close on March 15th. This incredible initiative seeks to engage young leaders who are currently students at universities that are part of the movement’s partner network, of which Makerere university is a member.
We highly encourage students from marginalized communities, including those with disabilities, as well as young women and girls, to apply for this incredible opportunity.
The movement will offer selected applicants individualized health and wellness coaching, financial support for youth-led participatory action research projects, and training opportunities. These will include potential travel experiences, where applicants may have the chance to present their ideas and strategies for positive change to both national and international audiences.
Participants who need accommodation needs will be assessed, and reasonable accommodations will be provided to ensure an inclusive experience for all selected participants.
