The Julius Nyerere Leadership Centre (JNLC) in partnership with its Co-Promoters Makerere University (MAK) and Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) and the School of Women and Gender Studies, Makerere University with utmost gratitude wish to thank several institutions and individuals and student leaders who participated in different three activities including the multimedia blitz on 6th June, the Fireside (Ekyooto) Conversation with young female leaders on June 7th and the Presidential Lecture on June 8th 2023 that marked this year’s second JNLC Annual Presidential Lecture Series with Her Excellency Fatoumata Jallow Tambajang, the former Vice President of The Gambia and Ms. Charlene Ruto, first daughter of the President of Kenya. Special thanks to H.E Lulama Xingwana the South African Commissioner to Uganda, Mrs. Lorna Magara, Chair Makerere University Council, Prof Barnabas Nawangwe, Vice Chancellor – Makerere University, Dr. James Nkata, Director General- Uganda Management Institute, Members of Makerere University Council, JNLC Board of Directors, JNLC Training Facilitators, Makerere Guild Leadership and the Students Community.
